12.24.11 - Day 293

Today, we had fun giving Skyler a new hairdo - a fauxhawk! He doesn't have anywhere near enough hair for one, but it still looked super cute on him!
We also got to spend a couple of hours with Jenn and Corey! Skyler was so cute with them and would just stare at them...even in this picture, he didn't want to take his eyes off Jenn! I love it! :) I missed getting pictures of the boys opening their gifts from them, but they got Gage and Carter these awesome remote control fighting ball robot things. I don't know what they are called, but the boys absolutely love playing with them! They got Skyler a stuffed animal dog named Scout from Leap Frog. You connect him to the computer and can download lullabies and stories and make him personalized for Skyler! I still haven't done that yet, but I will! Skyler loved watching Scout's dog tag blink while it sang and talked to him! :)
Jenn and Corey, thank you guys so much for everything! You guys are amazing and we are so lucky to have you in our lives! We are so proud of you and can't wait to continue watching you two grow, just as much as we can't wait to watch Skyler grow! We love you guys!!!
After Jenn and Corey left, we headed over to Brandon's parents' house to open presents! They all got so many great things! Skyler loved the great new food that was in his stocking!
The boys were just excited to finally be able to open their presents from their Grandmas, Grandpa, and aunts and uncles!
Skyler did really well opening presents. Once you showed him how to pull the paper, he would pull it until it ripped, then we showed him again and he did it again...then he got to the box and almost figured out how to open that on his own! Such a smart little cookie!
Brandon's Grandma H painted this beautiful picture for me! I absolutely LOVE it, it is amazing!!! I can't wait to hang it up in his room! :)
After presents we headed to Brandon's Grandma H's house for dinner and a special Christmas story and a movie about the birth of our Savior. After all, He is the reason for Christmas! Here are the great grandkids watching the movie, minus Skyler...he was drinking a bottle in the other room...it was way past his bedtime!
After dinner we headed home to see my Dad and my beautiful hall tree he made for us for Christmas!!!! It is absolutely amazing and I love it!!!! No more messy shoe racks and no more coats on the floor or hanging on the back of the chairs!
Thank you Dad, it is absolutely PERFECT!!! :)

Thank you for sharing your beautiful son with us. I love seeing Skyler with such a loving family. I love that you selflessly include Jenn and Corey in his life. Lots of love,
Larali Miller (Corey's Aunt)
