Today was just the beginning of our crazy long holiday weekend!!! We started out the day with Skyler's 9 month check up - it was only 2 weeks late :( Dang doctor going out of town. Oh well, at least he didn't need any shots!

Weight - 21 lbs 1 oz ~ 50th percentile
Length - 27.8 inches ~ 30th percentile
Head
After his appointment, we went home and took a nap...it's been a while since I have posted a sleeping picture of him. He usually doesn't sleep on his tummy, so I was surprised when I went in to check on him and he was!
After his nap we were invited to go play with Lucas at Uncle Scott and Aunt Steph's house...little did the boys know that Santa was making a special stop just to see them! Gage and Carter were soooo excited to see him, Lucas was not having any of it, and Skyler was just like, 'who is this guy with all this facial hair and bright red clothes?' He did really well! This was his expression when Brandon put him on Santa's lap.
Then Santa got the 'Classic Skyler' look. Skyler didn't even cry. He just looked a little concerned while watching Santa, then he would look at us to make sure we were still there, then look at Santa again. I was very surprised!
I wanted to get a picture with all of the boys, but Lucas just didn't want anything to do with Santa, so since he loves Skyler so much we tried to get him to pay attention to Skyler, but that didn't work. So Steph was holding Lucas and Skyler, but Lucas didn't want to take his eyes off Santa. Carter was the same way at that age! It will get better! Oh and Carter really was happy, I don't know what he was looking at or why he was pulling that face!
Thanks again for inviting us over you guys, the boys had a blast!
After our Santa adventures, we went home and left the boys with the babysitter and headed out for a great night out at dinner and a movie! :)
