Sunday we loaded up the car and headed back home. Skyler didn't enjoy the drive back as much and cried for a good portion of the drive. That made it kind of stressful, but Gage and Carter were such good sports and took turns feeding him whenever he would wake up and start crying. Carter was so sweet and even started singing, 'I am a Child of God' to him to calm him down. So sweet. However, I wonder if he was/is getting sick. Look how red his little cheeks were, and this picture was taken at almost 8pm, after we had already been home for a couple of hours.
I took his temperature, and it was normal, so hopefully he was just tired and needed a real good night's rest! I forgot how much work it was to travel with 2 active boys, and even more work with a newborn. We might be taking a little vacation from vacations for a little while! haha, of course that won't stop us from having fun and visiting places that are close by!! Maybe that's why my parents stopped going on vacations when my little brother was born? haha, it all makes sense now! :)
