Carter just loves to give Skyler hugs all day...especially when I get the camera out. He always runs to him and give him a hug like this, and then asks to see the picture. Haha, and Skyler is such a good sport!
Today our little Scout Elf finally came to stay with us! He is Santa's helper and keeps an eye on our family, so when the boys go to sleep, he flies back to Santa to report how they did for the day, then that determines if they go on the naughty or nice list! Well, after we read our Elf on the Shelf story and learned all about him, Roxy started barking at the door, so we went to check the door and our little elf was right there waiting for us to give him a name so he could earn his magic! Of course once he has his magic, you can't touch him or he will lose his magic and can't fly back and forth anymore. So we let the boys hold him for a minute before we picked out a name.
After going through several names, we all agreed on Buster! So we set Buster on the TV stand and then put the boys down for bed. Boy were they so excited to have Buster here with us. They couldn't wait to wake up the next morning and see where Buster decided to hide! I'll try to post a picture of where he hides every day for you too! Tonight the boys fell fast asleep without a single peep, hoping Buster would fly back to Santa and tell him how good they were being! :)
