Bright and early this morning we went to the courthouse to finalize Skyler's adoption! It was a great day and judge Iwasaki was so awesome. He said he enjoyed doing adoptions because they are usually the only things that happen in the courtroom with a happy ending! We asked if we could get a picture with him after everything was done and he said, 'Of course, as long as I get to hold little Skyler!' It was an amazing experience, he was so friendly and even put Brandon on the spot by saying, 'this isn't a test, but when were you guys married?' So Brandon answered and the Judge looked at me and said, 'Well I don't hear any disagreement, that's good!' haha. Oh and while Brandon was answering some questions, Skyler started making some noise and the Judge said, 'No objections yet!' haha
Thanks to all of our families that were able to come and support us! It really meant a lot having you all there! :)
