9.11.11 - Day 189

Today we had a great day!

It was so nice to just relax and spend time with our family!

Today was also the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center towers. We didn't really do anything to celebrate it, but it was on our minds and our hearts go out to all of those people that lost their lives and the friends and families that lost loved ones that dreadful day. I was barely 20 years old when it happened, and was getting ready for the day when I heard it on the news. I ran upstairs to tell my mom and dad. We spent the rest of the day in shock just watching everything unfold. Brandon was on his mission in Pittsburgh, PA. He and his companions were 'grounded' to their apartment because of the plane that went down in the field in PA. It wasn't very close to him, but still close enough.

Accomplishments: Tonight Uncle Curtis was holding Skyler while everyone was eating. Uncle Larry's plate was next to Skyler on the table. Apparently Skyler was hungry because he pulled Uncle Larry's plate over to him and picked up a toquito and it went straight to his mouth! Haha, forget all this mushy baby food, he wants the real stuff! LOL, it was so funny!
