Friday we went camping with my dad, my sister and her family in Fairview. We were going to go to Topaz Mountain, but on Thursday their temperature was 105 degrees...so with a little one, we decided to go to the mountains! I'm so glad we did too, because the weather was PERFECT!
On our way down there, we stopped at a little diner at the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon called, The Acorn. While we were waiting for our food, we ran into Carter's birth grandpa, Dave! He had been deer and elk hunting all week and was headed home! What a small world it is, and it was so great to see him!
We finally made it to an awesome camp spot and set up the trailer. My sister and I hung out inside getting food put away in the cupboards and playing with Skyler while the boys played outside.
The big boys got to play on this Razor...it was sooooo much fun, they LOVED it! Oh yeah, my sister and I were driving it around looking for the perfect spot to set up camp, and while we were driving a HUGE black bee hit me in the chest...I thought it fell off onto the floor...nope, it went down my shirt and STUNG ME!!! It was terrible! Not a fun way to start a camping trip! Needless to stay, I spent a lot more time inside the trailer! I was not a fan of bees this weekend at all!
Papa hung out with Skyler for a little bit!
And my beautiful little niece, Alexi, absolutely LOVED playing with Skyler and feeding him! She was such a big helper...although he is almost as big as she is....and she's almost 8! haha
After the boys had their fun riding the razor, we sat down and ate some yummy dinner! I just love this picture of Carter because all of the other kids were off running around and he was still sitting there being so good eating all of his fruit!
Accomplishments: Skyler went camping for the first time today! He did soooo well too! :) He loved being outside with all of those trees!
