Friday we went up to Bear Lake to spend the weekend in our friend's cabin. Here is the view from the back door! This was our 5th or 6th year in a row going up there and this is the highest the water has ever been! The boys were in heaven!
Another friend brought a boat up so we got to go out on the water...but the boat died when we stopped to let uncle Scott get on the wakeboard. We were stuck out on the water for over an hour until the ranger was finally able to come and tow us back to the marina!
Skyler was such a trooper wearing the uncomfortable life jacket the whole time we were just waiting for the ranger.
While Nate was trying to get the boat started again, the boys decided to jump into the water! Carter is NOT a fan of the water weather it is a swimming pool or the ocean. However, when Branodn jumped in the lake, Carter wanted to go too! I think he LOVED it!
Finally after an hour of playing in the water and warming up while waiting for the ranger, they made us all put on life jackets as they towed us...I just had to post this picture, because Brandon got the purple life jacket, and just looked too cute holding Skyler! LOL
It was quite the adventurous start to a fun weekend!
